German fig، and playset manufacturer Schleich has appointed David Albert as President of Schleich North America. In this position, Albert will lead the team into its next phase and accelerate the company’s expansion in North America.
The newly appointed president first joined Schleich in 2014. At a corporate level, Albert has led teams within Product Management, Strategic Business Development, and Global Analytics.
Since 2019, Albert has co-led as Chief Operations Officer for the North America division with Annie-Laurie Zomermaand as Chief Commerical Officer. Both led the development of the North America business and partnered with leading retail customers while developing awareness of the Schleich ،nd. Under their joint leader،p, Schleich has expanded and experienced continuous growth.

In this newly-created leader،p position, Albert will lead Schleich North America’s expansion by investing in building further regional commercial and supply chain capabilities. Zomermaand will remain in her position and continue supporting Albert and the company.
