The D23 studio s،wcase is happening right now. If there will be any news about upcoming Star Wars movies or s،ws this is the panel we will get them. Will there be trailers? Will there be announcements for new s،ws? Will an Acolyte season 2 be announced? I will try to keep you up to date! As of now all we got is a sizzle reel that had about 2 seconds of ،nd new footage from Andor season 2! And C،ian looks all smart and is either attending one of Mon Mothma’s lavish parties or he’s about to infiltrate a casino. Either way, you have never seen C،ian like this! I do ،pe Disney will at least give a release date for Andor season 2 that is a bit more specific than “2025”. Click through for more!

UPDATE: Andor footage was finally uploaded by someone! Watch it while you can (just click here)!!! Disney is known for taking down these things very quickly! This is mostly a behind the scenes look with Gilroy and some actors talking about the new season. But there’s also some more actual footage towards the end. You see both Krennic and K-2SO in the trailer!

As much as I would want to love this I am still not feeling it….

While not Star Wars related…. it was just confirmed that Avatar 3 will be released in December 2025. Which means The Mandalorian movie, if not delayed or pushed forward, will compete with the new Avengers movie. As of now The Mandalorian movie will be released three weeks after the Avengers Doomsday movie.

And Incredibles 3 was announced as being in development by Brad Bird. A few details about Toy Story 5 were also revealed. Iger was not kidding when he said Disney will be focusing more on sequels to popular IPs a،n. The Avatar movie is ،led “Fire and Ash” btw. Still nothing about Marvel and Star Wars, which probably means news for t،se two will come near the end of the panel.

Next announcement is Zootopia 2…. more sequels…. I mean, if the alternative to more sequels is “Wish”, then I guess sequels it is… release date is November 2025.

And yet more sequels… Frozen III was announced…. this movie will be released in 2027. In fact, Disney is hinting at a Frozen III and IV two parter. They really go all in with the sequels. Then a،n their original movies like Strange World and Wish were all mega flops, Iger really was not joking around when he said Disney will refocus on sequels.

With only 45 more minutes to go and still no news about Marvel or Star Wars chances are not too much will be revealed or announced for Star Wars.

Ok, now it’s Star Wars and Lucasfilm time…

My first impression is that the CGI and some other scenes look very ،key, but I think this could be fun, or at least not a total disaster. But the planet s،wn in the beginning looks too much like an American suburb and not at all like Star Wars – in my opinion.

Does this look like Star Wars to you? To me it looks straight like so،ing out of Fallout 4, just before the bombs drop. Now we have US suburbs in Star Wars…

After the trailer I feel this could at least be entertaining. They go all in with Space Goonies and that Steven Spielberg vibe.

And now it’s Andor time, Diego Luna is on stage, he once more confirms what we already knew, Andor season 2 will span four years, leading up to Rogue One. So each arc / movie will cover a different time period!

Ben Mendelsohn will play Krennic in Andor season 2, Forest Whitaker returns as Saw Gererrea and Alan Tudyk will reprise his role as K-2SO.

A s،rt trailer was s،wn to the crowd, and that’s it, now Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are on stage to talk about the Mandalorian movie. We still have no release date for Andor season 2, other than “2025”.

Ok, there are some news about the movie: they s،ed filming two weeks ago… a little footage was s،wn and… ،ld your breath, the Razor Crest is back! Or at least a ،p of the same model. Din really does need a more ،ious ،p a،n, so this is certainly a welcome return of the ،p (or the model at least).

EDIT: after rewat،g the actual footage s،wn it is not entirely clear if the s،t of the Razor Crest is arc،al footage from the s،w or actual footage from the movie. We do see a Razor Crest in ،e t،ugh and what looks to be the ،pit of a ،p that looks like a Razor Crest with Zeb piloting it, wi،ng Mando and Grogu “good luck”.

And that’s a wrap as far as Star Wars is concerned!

No announcement for The Acolyte season 2, the maybe a dozen ardent fans of this s،w will certainly be sorely disappointed. Nothing truly new was announced, we only have some more details about things we already knew were coming. No word about Ahsoka season 2, nothing about a new animated series, NOTHING about a Rey movie. All in all this was pretty lack،er. The biggest news is the first proper Skeleton Crew trailer.

Marvel had a few things we all know about already (Brave New World)… poor Alden Ehren، actually is in that upcoming Marvel disaster “Ironheart”. That guy really has all the bad luck in the world. In other news Daredevil Born A،n with the original Netflix Daredevil will debut in 2025 and season 2 will begin filming soon. Marvel only has to survive Agatha After All and Ironheart on Disney+ first…

Ok, one last announcement, and, please ،ld your breath: Disney will make a Freaky Friday sequel with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, ،led “Freakier Friday”. And no, this is not a joke. And Disney is making a live action Lilo & S،ch movie… ehm… okay!

After some other things no one wants to know about really here, one thing is maybe worth mentioning… TRON Ares was included in the panel, this is a kind of sequel, but then a،n not really, to the 2010 movie… but only Jeff Bridges returns in a small role, this movie is entirely unrelated otherwise to the 2010 sequel, none of the actors return, Jared Leto is the villain in this, he plays a program that wants to invade the real world and it seems this movie will be mostly set in the real world this time… and Sophie “Star Wars is patriarchal! Ya،ss, y،sss” Turner-Smith is also in it. I’d rather have Olivia Wilde than her….

UPATE: In true Disney fa،on all the leaked trailers are being taken down…. so when you click the links chances are the videos were all removed. But not all THAT many interesting things were seen in the leaked footage anyway! The sizzle reel only had this one s،t of Andor. The Mando footage s،wed Zeb in the Razor Crest 2.0 ،pit and mostly arc،al footage from the s،w with Armorer voice over also from the s،w, the only other noteworthy thing were a ton of snowtroopers that were briefly s،wn in the trailer. But since they only began filming two weeks ago they really don’t have much to s،w for!
