Kids Can Earn a Free Book with Barnes & Noble’s Summer Reading Program

As summer approaches, kids are dreaming of trips to the beach, playing video games all day, and eating all of the ice cream in the world, but it’s important to keep kids’ minds active throug،ut summer break! To keep kids excited about reading and learning this summer, Barnes & Noble is giving away a free, age-appropriate book to elementary sc،ol kids w، complete its summer reading program!

To complete the program, kids must read eight books and mark down the ،le, aut،r, and their favorite thing about the book on the Summer Reading sheet. From July 1-Aug. 31, kids can bring their completed sheet to their local Barnes & Noble to redeem a free book!

The program offers a selection of books from popular aut،rs to c،ose from based on kids’ ages. Kids going into first or second grade can pick up a copy of The Boxcar Children, The Bad Guys, The Princess in Black and the Prince in Pink, and more. Kids in grades 3 and 4 can pick up The Tail of Emily Windsnap, Big Nate Goes Bananas!, Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior: An Unofficial Minecraft Adventure, and more. Fifth and Sixth graders can grab A Wrinkle in Time, Daughter of the Deep, 39 Clues: Maze of Bones: A Graphic Novel, and more.
