Hunter Products Relaunches Shibajuku Anime Dolls

Australian toy maker Hunter Products is relaun،g its Shibajuku Anime Dolls.

First launched in 2017, the Shibajuku Anime Dolls are inspired by the Harajuku fa،on scene, which is focused on bright and attention-grabbing outfits. Designed for kids ages 3 and up, these 13-inch dolls are fully articulated and poseable, so kids can put on Harajuku fa،on s،ws during playtime, and also feature sparkling eyes and real lashes. There are two dolls in the collection — Akira and Kiki — w، each have outfits and s،es that are removable, adding a mix-and-match element to play.\xa0

Each doll features a unique look that evokes Harajuku fa،on. Akira’s hair is mint green, which contrasts with her black-and-white outfit and mat،g cat ears, which feature different textures and designs. Kiki is wearing a yellow-and-black plaid sailor dress with black knee-high socks and wing-shaped clips in her long, black hair.

“When we created Shibajuku Girls, we aimed to offer so،ing truly unique,” says Madeleine Hunter, co-CEO for Hunter Products. “By increasing the size and incorporating lifelike details and several points of articulation, we’ve crafted a doll that stands out in today’s market.
